SMALL GARDEN DESIGN
This showcases an excellent example of how a small space can be transformed into a stylish outdoor relaxation area.
Located in a picturesque village in Fife, this previously underutilised back garden was redesigned to create a vibrant, versatile, and easily manageable space. The design incorporated decking, cedar, and other elements.
At the heart of the design is a comfortable and visually appealing cedar seating area, which serves as the focal point. This space was specifically designed to accommodate family gatherings and provide a relaxing atmosphere. The surrounding wall, with its bright and bold colour, adds a striking contrast to the other materials used, further engaging the visual interest.
PLANTS FOR SCREENING AND YEAR-ROUND INTEREST
To fulfil the client’s requests, a simple yet effective planting plan was implemented. It included the use of grasses, white perennials, elegant topiary balls, and strategically placed trees. This selection adds a touch of elegance and liveliness to the space while maintaining a sense of simplicity.
The transformation of this small space into a modern outdoor relaxation area demonstrates how thoughtful design choices, materials, and plantings can create an inviting and functional environment for leisure and enjoyment.
